Pengalaman adalah guru terbaik, dapat dimaknai bahwa pengalaman merupakan bekal yang sangat penting dalam hidup kita. Kejadian atau peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kita alami pada masa lampau, kita jadikan sebagai pelajaran atau peringatan untuk menuju langkah perjalanan hidup berikutnya.

Dengan begitu, kita tidak mengulangi kesalahan yang sama dalam hidup kita pada masa depan dan jika itu merupakan hal buruk, kita tidak perlu menyesalinya. Kita cukup menjadikannya sebagai suatu pembelajaran agar kita menjadi lebih baik di masa depan.

Mengalami dapat menjadi pendidikan paling baik. Tanpa mengalami, seseorang tidak akan pernah banyak belajar. Allah berfirman,”…Dan masa (kejayaan dan kehancuran) itu, Kami pergilirkan di antara manusia (agar mereka mendapat pelajaran)…” (QS Ali Imran: 140).

Sepanjang perjalanan kehidupan akan banyak hal yang ditemui. Setiap yang dialami hendaknya dijadikan pelajaran dan kenangan. Jika menemui kepedihan, kepedihan itu kita jadikan sebagai suluh semangat. Apabila kita menjumpai kebencian, kebencian itu kita jadikan sebagai pemantik keberanian.

Apabila kita merasakan kebahagiaan, kita jadikan kebahagian itu sebagai tabungan. Ketika kita sedih menghujam, kita ambil kebahagiaan di tabungan tadi untuk ditaruh pada jiwa agar luka tidak dalam dan menganga.

Itulah dinamika kehidupan manusia. Itulah sebabnya, kita belajar dari benci, pedih, kalah, menang, dan bahagia dan seterusnya sebagai guru pengalaman paling berharga. Melalui kekalahan, kita belajar tentang bangkit dari keterpurukan, menerima kekalahan, dan berdamai dengan kenyataan. Dari kemenangan, kita bisa belajar tentang proses meraihnya, menghargai siapa pun yang ikut serta terlibat.

Allah berfirman,”… Namun, boleh jadi kamu tidak menyenangi sesuatu, padahal itu baik bagimu dan boleh jadi kamu menyukai sesuatu, padahal itu tidak baik bagimu. Allah mengetahui, sedang kamu tidak mengetahui.” (QS Al-Baqarah: 216).

Itulah sebabnya, kita harus yakin bahwa kemudahan akan selalu datang bersama kesulitan. Bersama usaha dan ikhtiar, selalu terdapat harapan. Ada waktu yang tepat untuk setiap kejadian karena Allah telah mendesain mana yang terbaik untuk makhluk ciptaan, termasuk semua insan.

Ketika kesulitan telah memuncak, jangan pernah dikuasai keputusasaan. Sediakan tempat besar untuk mengumpulkan kekuatan. Ketika bahagia terus bersama, perbanyaklah bersyukur dan jangan terlena hingga lupa.
